Profession and Science: Experience of the MMA

Belgrade, December 01, 2010. – The top expert from the Anesthesiology Clinic of the University Hospital in Nancy, France, Dr Thomas Fuchs Buder was in the working visit to the MMA’s Clinic for Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, where he did an outstanding job of delivering a lecture and, together with our experts, practically promoted a new method applied for the review of neuromuscular blockade. Present to the presentation were over 70 anesthesiologists from Serbia and Montenegro who were on behalf of the MMA’s Management cordially welcomed by Prof. Dr. Predrag Romić.
Within the Serbian-Turkish bilateral military medical cooperation and the Balkan Military Medical Committee framework, Col. Prof. Dr. Sait Sirin from Ghulan Military Medical Academy in Ankara (Turkey) gave a lecture on Stereotacic Neurosurgery, through which he presented the latest capabilities for application of γ and cyber-knife, the indication area for the treatment of primary and secundary metastatic brain and bone marrow tumors and other types of benign tumors as well as primary and secundary malignant tumors in another locations (liver, lung, kidney,...). This activity was directly coordinated by Col. Prof.Dr. Đoko Maksić, our national representative in the Balkan Military Medical Committee
